Adult Outpatient Clinician I/ II

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our team oriented, professional, and supportive culture through a new opening on our Adult Outpatient Therapy team. This full-time position will provide individual and group therapy to members of our community struggling with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues. Crisis Stabilization Supervisor

Be part of the leadership team for a community mental health agency who is dedicated to serving the needs of a diverse population. The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an experienced licensed clinician to serve as the Supervisor of Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) – Arbor House. Arbor House provides around the clock residential crisis programing and serves adults experiencing a mental health crisis. This position provides program leadership and oversight to the daily operations, including but not limited to clinical supervision to program staff, ensuring appropriate staffing for all shifts, overseeing the clinical interventions provided to participants, and assuring the program is meeting all regulatory requirements. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral format. Qualified applicants must hold a professional license (LPC or LCSW) within the State of Virginia or be Licensed Eligible. Preferred candidates will have a history of supervisory experience and/or program development within behavioral health and/or related field.

Community Case Manager

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking a full-time Community Case Manager. This is a co-responder position that works in collaboration with the Community Paramedics at Harrisonburg Fire Department and is housed in the Public Safety Building HFD office. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively respond to individuals in their home and community setting to assess for underlying needs and awareness of community resources to create an accessible plan of care. This position required a multifaceted skillset that embraces the whole person perspective of treatment.

Early Intervention Clinician I/II

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our team of Early Intervention Clinicians (EIC) who provide a variety of clinical services and supports within our local schools. EIC services focus on working with at-risk students who are identified as needing in-school clinical support due to struggles with mental health, substance use, or difficult life circumstances. For these students an EIC will provide therapeutic support, linkage to resources in the community, and crisis/safety assessment as needed. Ideal candidates for this position will work from a person centered and trauma informed framework while also having a passion for working with a diverse group of students and staff within a school setting. This position is full-time, salaried, works within the 10 month school calendar and includes benefits like health insurance as well as enrollment in the Virginia Retirement System. License (LCSW, LPC) or License Eligible status is a requirement for this position. HRCSB will provide clinical supervision towards getting your licensure as part of the employment package.

Emergency Services Clinician

Full time salaried position providing crisis intervention and evaluation to persons experiencing mental health or substance abuse emergencies. Position requires strong clinical and problem solving skills, and the ability to work as a member of a team is essential. Good diagnostic, evaluative, emergency intervention and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work effectively with service providers from other agencies, as well as, with people who are experiencing a high level of stress. Master’s degree in human services and professional license (LPC or LCSW) or license eligible required. Licensure supervision and on the job specialized training will be available.
Work schedule primarily daytime hours Monday through Friday. Excellent pay, benefits, 13 paid holidays and tuition reimbursement.

Emergency Services On-Call Clinician

The Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an Emergency Services On-Call Clinician! This is a part-time, hourly position providing crisis intervention, information, referral, and prescreening for hospitalization by telephone or face-to-face. Work schedule includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays (or at any time when the CSB services are closed).

CSU Lead Nurse

Be a part of the leadership for dynamic, interdisciplinary team teaching who supports individuals experiencing psychiatric crisis. HRCSB is seeking a lead nurse staff who has the skills and leadership qualities to oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff for the program. This individual must be proficient in the field of nursing, while sensitive to the challenges individuals face when dealing with a psychiatric crisis. Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with individuals to stabilize a mental health crisis. This position works closely with the prescribers and mental health staff to assure accessible and effective 24-hour delivery of medical services appropriate to the admission and maintenance of residential crisis stabilization services. This includes supervising and scheduling the work of crisis stabilization nursing staff. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral format. Qualified applicants must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia plus four years of nursing experience which includes experience working with mental health clients. QMHP-A credentialed as defined by DBHDS preferred.

CSU Nurse, Hourly

Be a part of the dynamic, interdisciplinary team teaching and supporting individuals experiencing psychiatric crisis. HRCSB is seeking nursing staff who are proficient in the field, yet sensitive to the challenges individuals face when dealing with a psychiatric crisis. Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with folks to avoid psychiatric hospitalization, or stepping down from hospital setting before returning home. Duties include standard nursing practices, as well as working with team of mental health professionals to ensure high quality care to those experiencing a psychiatric crisis. This position provides opportunities for engaging on an individual level, facilitating teaching moments, and life skill development outside of general nursing duties.

Medical Director / Chief Psychiatrist

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is hiring a Medical Director/Chief Psychiatrist! Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board (HRCSB) provides services to residents across the lifespan for mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities. The incumbent for this position will provide clinical leadership in combination with direct services to children with serious emotional disturbance and/or adults with serious mental illness and other behavioral health concerns across disabilities. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Work schedule Monday-Friday during regular office hours and additional hours as needed.
